Percy Jackson has been on a lot of field trips but this field trip turns out to be an exiting one when one of his teachers turns into a giant bird thing and tries to kill him. Luckily his Latin teacher throws him a pen that turns into a sword. The bird then runs away at the sight of the sword. Then Percy’s friend Grover takes him to camp Half Blood where Percy finds out he is the son of Poseidon the god of the sea. Next Chiron one of the camp counselors gives Percy and his friends Grover and Annebeth a quest to recover Zeus’ masterbolt. Will Percy and his friends find out who stole the masterbolt or will they fail like the ones before them?
