Will is determined to rescue his friend Lyra. She was kidnapped by Mrs. Coulter. He travels to Lyra’s world and with help of two Gallivespian spies, two low class angels, and the armored bear Iorek Byrinson he rescues his dearest friend. Lyra and Will are never safe. People from every universe are trying to attack them. They find out they must go to a place no living being has ever gone before. In doing so they must separate from their daemons, their life long companions who should never leave their sides. All the while a great war is fought as Lord Asriel leads his troops of glorious angels, tiny Gallivespians, armored bears, and flying witches into battle. An assassin follows Lyra’s path and Professor Mary Malone constructs the amber spy glass. As Lyra and Will search for their daemon and dust escapes from the sky the fate of every conscious being comes to depend on the simple choices of two mere children.
