Summary: Will is a fifteen year old boy who has big dreams to become a knight but when the choosing ceremony comes he is rejected by all the craft masters except for one, the mysterious ranger Halt. Will trains as Halt's apprentice and they journey to the ranger gathering. When they get there though they find everyone is leaving. They learn a shocking truth Morgarath is rising.
