Bella decides to go and live with her father, Charlie, in forever cloudy Forks, Washington. Charlie had already bought her a car and enrolled her into Forks High School. At lunch on her first day she sees the Cullens. Something is different about them and she wants to find out what. In biology, she finds she will be sitting next to Edward Cullen. He acts weird the entire class; sitting as far away from her as possible, staring at her and holding very still. Bella sees his eyes are as black as rocks.
